According to various reports, Police responded to a “medical emergency” at Locklear’s home late Thursday afternoon. There were speculations about her physical and mental state in the media, with some asserting that that the actress had ingested a dangerous mix of prescription drugs reported to be Xanax and alcohol.
Paramedics found the actress at her home in Westlake Village conscious and requiring medical assistance. According to Heather Locklear’s parents, Bill and Diane Locklear who issued a public statement from the Los Robles Hospital where the actress is under treatment that their daughter is “going to be just fine.” According to varying reports, Locklear’s sister Colleen called 911 when she became concerned about the actress’ mental state and that she “was going to harm herself”.
The 50 year old actress is said to be heart broken from her previous relationship with her former “Melrose Place” co start Jack Wagner. The pair split in November. Locklear has previously married to Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora and to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.
